On behalf of RTF, Professor Diab was invited as a VIP speaker in the opening Ministers’ panel at the 18th Global WIL Economic Forum during October 24-25, 2016 at the Ritz, DIFC, Dubai. The WIL Forum gathered over 500 key stakeholders from the private, public and the education sector to strive for global gender parity. Endorsed and opened by the UAE Minister of Economy for the past three years, the forum has championed women’s economic empowerment for over a decade. The forum focused on gender diversity and women’s economic empowerment, and Professor Diab highlighted the role of education in fostering greater gender equality and shaping future (female) leaders.
In collaboration with Ericson, Rifca Taji foundation (rtf) held a seminar for the occasion of the international girls in ICT day 2015 at the UNESCO palace in Beirut, Lebanon with the participation of female students from several private schools in Lebanon.
The seminar aimed at empowering female students with speaker notes focusing on the vital role of women in information and communication technology (ICT) industry. speakers included representatives from Ericson, rtf, Gerrman School Beirut, Ali bin Abi Taleb Makassed school as well as with testimonials from female students. the seminar ended with a Q&A session which offered students a unique opportunity to exchange thoughts and ideas with Ericson’s female leaders.
Under the patronage of former Minister of Education and Higher Education, Professor Hassan Diab, and the presence of the Director of Special Education in the Ministry Mr. Imad Al-Ashqar, and the participation of 500 pupils from private schools, RTF organized a lecture on "the importance of community service and empowerment of women" on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at UNESCO Palace.

Under the patronage of former Minister of Education and Higher Education, Professor Hassan Diab, and the presence of the members of the chamber of commerce in Tripoli, and the participation of 500 students from Rawdat El Fayhaa private school and Orthodox private school, RTF organized a lecture on "the importance of women empowerment for youth" on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the chamber of commerce Tripoli. The lecture focused on the importance of the role of youth in women empowerment. Also, the lecturer Ms. Darine El Masri motivated the girls to believe in themselves which will help them reach their desired potentials.
